The base of the PROMOP Hyper-Dri 28 is molded using industrial strength polycarbonate resins.  This means the base is virtually unbreakable.  Due to its low weight and high impact resistance, polycarbonate is the dominant material for making automotive headlamp lenses and bullet-proof windows.  The cockpit canopy of the Lockheed Martin F-22 Raptor jet fighter is made from a piece of  polycarbonate.  All Hyper-Dri mops are built using polycarbonate and each base has a lifetime warranty!
