CEO & FOUNDER OF COURTSPORTS
Erik Sigurdson founded Courtsports Inc. in 1996. His court flooring experience actually began at the age 10 when he put on his first uniform and played organized basketball at Seaside Heights Elementary School in Seaside, Oregon. In 1981 Dave Twardzik (who was the starting point guard for the 1977 Portland Trail Blazers championship team) traveled to Seaside for a basketball clinic that Erik participated in. He was amazed at Twardzik's ball handling abilities. Erik continued to play organized basketball through high school and into college. Erik enrolled at Linfield College in McMinnville, Oregon where he played basketball and baseball, and received a bachelors degree in business/marketing. He became the team captain and most improved player his senior year. In addition to his love for the sport of basketball, Erik is an exceptional artist---his "canvasses" are seen throughout the Pacific Northwest and extend to the East Coast. Erik's love for basketball continues today as he plays in several adult leagues and tournaments throughout the Pacific Northest.

Courtsports provides professional court flooring services in the areas of commercial, institutional, and athletic facilities. Our services include wood floor installations, sanding, refinishing, painting game lines, wall murals, court floor graphics and floor repairs. Courtsports also offers a full line of alternative surfaces such as rubber flooring, synthetics, and other court surfaces. Courtsports is the Pacific Northwests' leading installer of fine gymnasium equipment, which includes basketball hoops, volleyball equipment, telescoping bleachers and gym dividers. All work is guaranteed to each customers' satisfaction and all work is completed with the highest level of quality in the industry!

In 2009 Courtsports began offering its services across the entire United States. Since then crews have traveled to the mid west and east coast to perform new installations and refinishing work.
